No Respect (9/23 ReAction Recap)

No Respect (9/23 ReAction Recap)

ReAction picks up where Impact left off as Ink Inc. storms to the ring and takes Abyss out and sends him out to the floor.  Abyss then grabs Janice and heads towards the ring entrance but stops to warn Dixie Carter that she will become unemployed on 10-10-10.

We then see a video package of what happened to Rob Van Dam over a month ago after he suffered from a brutal attack at the hands of Abyss.  The docu-cam catches up with Abyss who is talking to himself about what he did wrong when he attacked RVD and how he will fix his mistake on 10-10-10.

The docu-cam also catches up with RVD and asks him why he came back.  RVD said he had to and no doctor will tell him not to get back in the ring.  Shannon Moore then talks about how Abyss took out Jeff Hardy and that’s why they decided to come out because they couldn’t take it anymore.  Jesse Neal says they had to do what was right and RVD says he is Mr. TNA and that he will make Abyss remember him.

The docu-cam catches up with Eric Bischoff who says he was shocked to see RVD come out on Impact and asked for a match against Abyss.  Bischoff says he admires RVD and says that he is determined to get revenge on Abyss.  As for D’Angelo Dinero, he was shocked to see what he said since that was not the Pope that he thought he knew.

Bischoff continues by addressing Kevin Nash and Sting by saying that they are bitter and at the end of their careers and says that the two teaming up with the Pope is a matter of misery loving company.  The Pope has a rebuttal and says the message that he wanted to get across to Eric Bischoff that he can smell a rat and he can smell crap and wants to wipe his feet clean of it.

A package focusing on Generation Me is aired.  Chris Sabin talks about how they tried to take out the Motorcity Machine Guns to try to get them to vacate the TNA Tag Team Championship.  Generation Me on the other hand feel they are the next tag team in line and want to do it their way, not the old fashioned way and wait around for four years to pay their dues.

A package on EV2 is aired that focuses on their hardcore background.  Mick Foley talks about his injured ankle and how he feels underutilized as Tommy Dreamer has been the mouthpiece as of late.  Foley also talks about Ric Flair and their history together and how he wants to talk with Flair in the middle of the ring.

Fortune is given the opportunity to speak as Beer Money talks about thinking that EV2 will be mismatched as there are no weak links in Fortune.  They also bury Brian Kendrick by saying they thought it was a fan running into the ring last week when he came out to save Tommy Dreamer.

Samoa Joe is featured and talks about shutting people up and how he plans to do that to Kevin Nash and Sting and how he will settle things at Bound for Glory.  Nash talks about aligning with Sting and his thoughts and feeling that they are doing the right thing.  Jeff Jarrett talks about how it’s not what you did yesterday, but what you will do in the future to help the promoters, TV executives and the merchandisers.  Joe ends it by saying he isn’t about morale values, but he is about results and he wants what you have and will fight his way to the top.

Shannon Moore is this week’s Impact Player of the Week and it focuses on his early wrestling career and how he was friends with Matt and Jeff Hardy.  Moore talks about wrestling on the independent circuit and how his wrestling career was almost cut short due to a car accident in 2005.  The video focuses on Moore coming back and forming a tag team with Jesse Neal. Moore talks about setting his sights on the X Division Title and then met up with Neal and they decided to form Ink Inc.  Moore then gives his thoughts on people being themselves and doing what they want, not what society expects them to do.

Kurt Angle, Mr. Anderson and Jeff Hardy are all the focus in the next segment on ReAction where they all give their thoughts on each other.  Mr. Anderson said he is a different person than he was a few months ago and says that he feels that Angle respects him even more since their huge battle at Lockdown.  Angle thinks that they will talk trash up until 10-10-10 but they probably won’t touch each other until then.

The three then give their thoughts on RVD being stripped of the title.  Anderson understands why RVD is setting his sights on Abyss.  Angle says he would probably do the same thing if he was in his situation and has been honorable for allowing the three of them in a match for a title he didn’t lose.  RVD chimes in and says any three of them will want to give him a shot at the title as they know they won’t be a true champion until they beat him.

A preview for next week’s Impact is aired where Tommy Dreamer talks about a lumberjack match and how he has friends that will back him up.  Mick Foley talks about not being able to do anything due to his fractured ankle and how it makes him sick that he isn’t the man he used to be.  Foley says he wants just one face to face conversation in the ring with Ric Flair and that he will walk out to the ring on his own power next week to have that conversation as ReAction comes to a close.
