We are treated to some footage from the TNA World Title Tournament from No Surrender. D’Angelo Dinero talks about how Mr. Anderson was able to one up him and how he has been able to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes except for him, Kevin Nash and Sting. Dinero continues by saying that he feels that he is being held back.
A rebuttal from Jeff Jarrett is aired in which he cannot believe that Dinero thinks he is being held back. Jarrett tells Dinero to go out and perform like Jeff Hardy or Kurt Angle and get the reactions that they do and earn the respect of the fans.
Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle talk about their match at No Surrender and what they went through. Angle says he deserved the victory and can’t believe it ended the way it did. Footage of the Impact main event is aired and how it was decided that a three-way match will take place with Mr. Anderson going up against both Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle, which is a decision that has some people in TNA, namely Dixie Carter, asking questions.
Eric Bischoff is in the back and is explaining his actions and calls it the right decision. He said he was faced with a challenge and had to make a tough decision regardless of the consequences. Bischoff continues by saying it wasn’t about trumping someone else’s decision but it was about crowing a deserving TNA World Champion. Dixie Carter, on the other hand, has no comment about Bischoff’s decision.
The locker room talks about the Bound for Glory main event. Samoa Joe talks about how TNA has put their marketable stars in the ring but will eventually have to face him. Jeff Jarrett talks about respect while portions of RVD’s phone conversation is aired, which leads us to a brief amount of hype for his return to Impact next week.
The second part of Jesse Neal’s interview is aired. Neal talks about not taking things for granted and having to take advantage of every opportunity that comes in front of him. Neal then talks about being lost after leaving the Navy and coming to the realization that he wasn’t living the life that he wanted to live. He then heard about the Team 3D academy, which was nearby his house, so he enrolled in the school and was trained by two people who he watched growing up.
Neal’s short history in TNA is highlighted up to the point where got together with Shannon Moore. He said it was crazy for them to team up but is proud to be in a tag team with him. Neal then says he hadn’t felt truly happy after the terrorist bombing and says that he has finally gotten to the point once again after starting Ink Inc. Neal talks about how his father told him that his fallen friend would be proud of all that he has accomplished in wrestling.
The attention is turned to Kevin Nash and Sting where Nash tells Hulk Hogan is the best worker in the business as he made a ton of money in the business. Nash brings up Samoa Joe being suspended without pay for yelling at the production truck. Nash also thinks that Hogan is in charge, not Dixie Carter, and feel that he and Sting are fighting the right fight and the people will eventually find out that they were right.
Jeff Jarrett talks about how Nash and Sting are still successful in the business not because of their wrestling ability, but because they know how to handle themselves. Jarrett says Joe has a lot of talent but needs to know more about how to handle himself and about locker room etiquette. Jarrett also thinks that Dixie Carter makes the right decisions for TNA
Jay Lethal is seen talking to his mom on the phone telling her about winning the X Division Championship. He promises to bring the title with him when he comes to visit her in a couple of weeks.
Tommy Dreamer talks about having to say “I quit” and how hard it was to do it. Dreamer also says that he was trying to tell Fortune that they were people before them that helped pave the way and to not take anything for granted.
Kazarian then talks about what Dreamer said to the guys in Fortune and how it was everything that they already knew. AJ Styles says it was all crap and they are all about making money. As for Brian Kendrick, they think he is trying to just fit in somewhere and try to find the spotlight.
A preview for next week’s Impact is aired where Samoa Joe talks about being the future and D’Angelo Dinero talks about how he, Sting and Kevin Nash are going to be the saviors of TNA. Bischoff finally ends by saying the stakes going in to Bound for Glory are high enough that it feels the future of TNA is dependent on it.
