The brawl that closed out Impact continues as ReAction begins. Security is trying to separate the two brawls but is having troubles containing the semi-final tournament competitors. Calmer heads finally prevail as they all separate as we head into the ReAction intro.
Kurt Angle is then seen in the back and is approached by Anderson, who shakes his hand and he walks away. Angle then meets up with Hardy in the back once more and the two continue to go at it as security quickly tries to break them apart. Angle yells at Hardy and says his ass is his as No Surrender.
Anderson is walking around the production truck and he runs into the Pope who tells Anderson that he was the legal man in the ring, which is why he went for the pin. The two then get into a shoving match and begin brawling in the parking lot as Tommy Dreamer and Jay Lethal have to pull them apart.
Kurt Angle is then with the docu-cam who says Hardy is stupid and didn’t get the job done tonight. Angle says Hardy stabbed him in the back and he promises to hurt him at No Surrender.
A video package that focuses on the rivalry between EV2 and Fortune is aired. Mick Foley talks about not missing a match in seven years and tonight he was taken out and was disappointed that he couldn’t go out there with EV2. Kazarian says Fortune never backs down from a challenge and calls them the nucleus of TNA as they were the ones that built the company and why TNA is still around today.
Samoa Joe says he isn’t there to comply with what Jeff Jarrett wants him to do. Kevin Nash disagrees with that statement and says he will pay the price for it. Nash also says he knows Sting and won’t pass up a chance to join up with him one last time. Jarrett thinks that Sting and Nash are playing politics and will do anything he has to do to stop them. Joe also says that he was there for business and said that Hogan came with a few things that he wanted to hear, which the rest of the world will have to find out for themselves.
ReAction takes a look at Brian Kendrick who says he has been at home trying to figure out what his purpose really is are is setting his sights on Abyss for his own personal reasons. Kendrick wants to challenge himself so he can realize that he is god.
The Impact Player of the Week is Jesse Neal and is part one of a two part series. The package starts with footage of what happened on the USS Cole and how that changed him as a person. Neal begins to break down talking about what happened and losing 17 of his shipmates on the attack, including his best friend and roommate. Neal said the whole experience made him grow up very fast. In 2002, Neal got out of the navy a pursued the dream of becoming a wrestler.
Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff talk about what they tried to accomplish in the ring before Abyss came in an interrupted. Footage of what Abyss said in the ring is aired as the wrestlers chime in with their thoughts about what Abyss was talking about. Kurt Angle says he is getting concerned because he seems to make his mark and make history. Bischoff thinks it is starting to get a little bit frightening.
Footage of the confrontation between EV2 and Fortune is aired. Matt Morgan is with the docu-cam and says that they are all sick of tired of waiting for their time to come. He says their time is now, while James Storm says they will fight them to their last breath.
Tara and Madison Rayne is standing in the parking lot and say that they have to get in the heads of the Beautiful People. Madison talks about how this was their plan all along and she knew what Tara was capable of and who to go to if she ever needed it. Tara says that they are there not to be beautiful, but to be number one. The Beautiful People wonder if this was Madison’s motive since last May and feel that she can talk the talk but can’t back it up.
We get some closing thoughts from the wrestlers about their matches at No Surrender this Sunday. Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy talk about stepping up and being able to lead TNA. Samoa Joe talks about how everyone wants him on their side when they go into war. London Brawling talks about Chelsea being a distraction and how they need to focus on winning the tag team championship. The voiceover guy then wonders who will be in the finals for the TNA World Championship when Impact returns in two weeks.
