A video package highlights the events that transpired at Victory Road this past Sunday with RVD retaining the TNA World Championship and the Motorcity Machine Guns winning the TNA Tag Team Championship.
We then head into the Impact Zone where the pyro goes off and we are told that after the tag team title controversy this past Sunday there will be a best of five series between Beer Money and the Motorcity Machine Guns. Also Sarita and Taylor Wilde will meet in a street fight and Jay Lethal will face off against Jeff Hardy.
The newest Top 10 Contenders rankings is then aired which go like this: 10 – Rob Terry, 9 – D’Angelo Dinero, 8 – Kurt Angle, 7 – Hernandez, 6 – AJ Styles, 5 – Jay Lethal, 4 – Samoa Joe, 3 – Mr. Anderson, 2 – Jeff Hardy, 1 – Abyss. The music for the number one contender then hits as Abyss comes down to the ring with his nail board in one hand and a side of beef in the other.
Abyss then gets on the microphone and tells RVD that they have a plan for him that involves Abyss and his little girl. Abyss says it is beyond extreme and beyond anything he has ever done in the wrestling business. Abyss promises to share the plan with him later on but he is waiting for final instructions from them. Abyss then introduces his nail board and calls it Janice before sticking it into the side of beef over and over again. Abyss then begins chewing on it and says RVD will soon see how much of a bitch his girl can be.
We then head to the back where Taylor Wilde and Sarita are going at it in the backstage area. Sarita is shoving Taylor into the walls and clams that she is better than her and puts her in an armbar. Mike Tenay tells us that the street fight between them is supposed to be coming up next.
