Lockdown 2010 Recap

Quick results for the Lockdown pay-per-view.

Match 1: James Storm vs. RVD (Lethal Lockdown Advantage)
Although he was busted open, RVD connects with the Five Star Frog Splash to pick up the pin fall victory over James Storm to give Team Hogan the man advantage in Lethal Lockdown.

Match 2: Homicide vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelley (X Division Xscape Match)
The Motorcity Machine Guns use their tag team background and double team moves to their advantage but it was Homicide and Kendrick that made escaped the cage with Homicide hitting the floor first.  In winning the match, Homicide will take Douglas Williams spot in the X Division triple threat match to crown a new X Division Champion.

Match 3: Kevin Nash vs. Eric Young
Nash powered EY around the steel cage and controls most of the match.  Nash finally knocks Young out with a chokeslam, a big boot and a jackknife powerbomb to win the match.  Nash then announced that he would be taking Sean Waltman’s place in the tag team match against Team 3D.

Match 4: The Beautiful People vs. Angelina Love & Tara (TNA Knockouts Championship/TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship)
Tara nearly put the match away after hitting the Widow’s Peak on Madison Rayne but the pin attempt was broken up Velvet Sky.  Lacey Von Erich then entered the cage and nailed Tara in the head with a championship belt allowing Madison to pick up the pin fall to become the new Knockouts Champion.  After the match, Tara attacks Angelina and tosses her into the steel cage.

Match 5: Homicide vs. Kazarian vs. Shannon Moore (TNA X Division Championship)
Homicide tried to put the match away by hitting the Gringo Killer on Shannon Moore but Kazarian broke it up and hit Homicide with a backwards piledriver.  Kazarian then picks up the pin fall to win the newly vacated X Division Championship, although the belt was nowhere to be seen.

Match 6: Team 3D vs. the Band (St. Louis Street Fight)
Team 3D announced before the match that it was going to be a falls count anywhere St. Louis Street Fight.  Team 3D dominated Hall and Nash out on the floor before the match finally entered the cage.  Team 3D then sent Scott Hall through a table with the 3D to pick up the pin fall.

Match 7: Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Anderson
The match went back and forth with both Angle and Anderson coming close to exiting the cage to win the match.  At one point Angle had the match won but decided to stay in the cage and inflict more punishment, which included a high risk moonsault from the top of the cage. Both competitors were busted open before Angle finally choked Anderson out with his soldier medal and left the cage.  Angle then announced to the crowd that he was taking time off to regroup before coming back to focus on the TNA World Championship.

Match 8: AJ Styles vs. D’Angelo Dinero (TNA World Championship)
Styles dodged an attempt at the DDE before reaching out of a hole in the cage to grab a pen from a camera man.  Styles jabbed the pen in Dinero’s eyes before hitting the Styles Clash to retain the TNA World Championship.

Match 9: Team Hogan vs. Team Flair (Lethal Lockdown)

Sting laid out Jeff Hardy in the back before he was able to come out to the ring.  Hardy did finally enter the match and got Beer Money to follow him to the top of the cage.  Hardy took out Roode with a Twist of Fate before placing Storm on a table and crashing down on top of him from a ladder.

Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan entered the cage and Eric Bischoff came out to step in between them.  Bischoff then gave Hogan a pair of brass knuckles and Hogan uses them on Flair, causing him to fall into a pile of thumbtacks.  Abyss then hit the Black Hole Slam on Desmond Wolfe to pick up the pin fall for Team Hogan. Bischoff and Hogan then shake hands as the pay-per-view goes off the air.
