Mick Foley is the host as he presents his favorite blood baths that took place during his short time in TNA. We will take a look at three pay-per-view matches, two of which include Foley and one that he likes.
Match 1: Kevin Nash vs. Mick Foley (TNA Legends Championship – Hard Justice 2009)
Mick Foley mentions before the match is aired that the match ranks high on his personal brutality meter and neither of them knew what was going to come from the match. Mick Foley, of course, came in as the Legends Champion but lost the title to Kevin Nash in a match where both Foley and Nash wore the proverbial crimson mask.
Match 2: Sting’s Warriors vs. Jarrett’s Army (Lethal Lockdown – Lockdown 2006)
Before the match is aired a few of the wrestlers give their thoughts on this particular Lethal Lockdown match. Jeff Jarrett talks about how they fought all over the cage and on top of it while AJ Styles recalls being nervous about possibly falling through the top of the cage.
This match pitted Sting’s Warriors (Sting, AJ Styles, Ron Killings and Rhino) against Jarrett’s Army (Jeff Jarrett, Scott Steiner and America’s Most Wanted) and is most famous for the insanely high risk move where Styles climbed on top of a ladder on top of the cage and crashed down onto James Storm and sent him through a table. The first portion of the match is cut out, but in the end Sting makes Chris Harris tap out to the Scorpion Death Lock to win the match for his team.
Match 3: Sting vs. Mick Foley (TNA World Championship – Lockdown 2009)
Prior to the match being aired, Ric Flair offers his thoughts on Sting and Foley saying that they have been creating memories for all generations. Flair also calls Foley a kamikaze pilot that can take more punishment than anyone else that he has seen.
This match marked the first and only TNA World Championship title reign that Mick Foley had during his time with the company. The trademark barbed wire bat made an appearance in the match with Foley taking the brunt of the punishment but Foley was able to escape the cage to win the match and the TNA World Championship.
