Around Christmas time, TNA offered a huge hour-long blowout deal that took place right after Impact went off the air. I don’t remember what all was part of the package, but it was $40 with free shipping and I regretted the fact that I didn’t order it when I went to bed that night. Thankfully, TNA put out another offer and I bought one without giving it much thought.
The package finally arrived in the mail.
It was fun opening the box as it was pretty much a surprise as to what was going to be in it – almost like a birthday gift. I did know that it was going to contain 6 DVDs, 3 t-shirts, 3 autographed photos , a pair of Pope sunglasses, and a couple of other items, but aside from an announced Sting shirt, I didn’t know what was going to be in the box.
After opening it, I think I did pretty good. Sure most of the items are probably clearance items or inventory they want to get rid of, but for $40 you can’t go wrong. Luckily, all of the DVDs and shirts that I received I didn’t have yet, which was one of the thoughts in the back of my mind after ordering it. Wouldn’t that suck to get six DVDs that you already own?
At any rate, you can decide for yourself as to how well this $40 package rates. I recently bought a TNA grab bag at a house show for $20 that contained only one shirt and three DVDs, so this package was already a better deal than that in my mind.
