The Knockouts Division keeps on trimming down as Traci Brooks has been released from TNA. Traci sent out a message confirming that she was released on Wednesday afternoon because they simply had nothing for her to do. She also has no ill-will towards TNA due to the release and tells her fans to keep watching TNA on Monday nights to cheer on her husband, Kazarian.
Traci has pretty much done everything imaginable in TNA since joining the company in 2003. Not only did Traci wrestle, but she also managed the likes of Michael Shane and Robert Roode, was an assistant to Dusty Rhodes when he was the Director of Authority, was the Knockout Law for the women’s division, and even refereed some of the Knockout matches.
Most recently, Traci was paired up with the Main Event Mafia until the faction disbanded. She then started wrestling on her own and her condition with Erb’s Palsy was brought out in an angle, which has impared the function of her right arm. The angle was dropped shortly afterwards and Traci has been sitting around without much to do ever since.
It is unfortunate to see someone released that has been with the company for such a long time. With too many stars and not enough time to give them all work, Traci’s release doesn’t come as much of a surprise. There are plenty others that are more deserving of pink slips, but there do not seem to be too many hard feelings, which could leave the door open for a return in the future.
