Monday Night Wars Return In March?

TNA Impact is reported to be going live on Monday night once again to go head-to-head with WWE Raw on Monday, March 1st.  TNA impressed SpikeTV officials with their huge rating for their January 4th show, which scored a 1.5 rating, when it went up against WWE with a 3-hour spectacular.

On top of the reports of the live show, Impact may be moving to Monday nights on a permanent basis starting that same week with live shows being held every other week – a schedule that WWE once did with Raw in the late 90′s.  Fans can only hope that this pushes both WWE and TNA to put out their best products with both shows airing the same nights.

As I have stated before, I really hate how TNA is pushing this so-called “war” since it really is one-sided – TNA making the claims, while WWE is basically ignoring them and going about their own business.  With that said, TNA really put on a great show on January 4th, and if moving to Monday nights puts them in that mindset, I am all for it.  My DVR is fully capable of recording WWE Raw week in and week out.
