Webmatch: Orlando Jordan vs. Jay Lethal
The new four-sided ring makes its Xplosion debut with this match up. The bell rings and these two lock up with neither getting much of the advantage. Lethal finally fires off a series of punches and takes Jordan down with a running elbow. Lethal then hits a double axe handle from the top rope but Jordan kicks out of the pin attempt. Lethal goes to the top once more but Jordan is then and hangs Lethal up over the top rope.
Jordan continues on the attack and focuses on Lethal’s arm before hitting a shoulder breaker. Jordan poses for the crowd a bit before putting Lethal in an arm bar as the crowd rallies behind Lethal. Jordan tries for a back body drop but Lethal lands on his feet and takes control of the match by taking Jordan down with a springboard back elbow. Lethal, though, charges at Jordan and ends up connecting with the ring post. Jordan then drives Lethal down to the mat and picks up the pin fall.
