Foley Ready to Cross the Line

Reports started circulating last night that Mick Foley and TNA had come to an agreement on the terms of a contract.  Foley’s current contract with the WWE expires on September 1st, however, that doesn’t mean Foley will be appearing on TNA television any time soon.

TNA has already taped every episode of Impact up to the No Surrender pay-per-view, which takes place on September 14th, so that event would be the earliest time he would possibly been seen in TNA.  If Foley does make his debut at No Surrender, it would be just in time to inject him into the Bound for Glory hype as TNA heads into its biggest pay-per-view of the year.

Of course, if Foley has a non-compete clause in his WWE contract, which most of them for wrestlers seem to be 90 days, it could put off Foley’s debut until early December.  At any rate, whether it comes in September or December, Foley is a huge name and could bring a lot to the company both on and off television.

I, for one, cannot wait to see him step foot into the six-sided ring.  Welcome to TNA, Mick Foley.
