Broken Wings
During Samoa Joe’s speech on Impact this past Thursday night, I thought something didn’t look quite right but I wasn’t able to put my finger on it. Thankfully, it all came to light while I was listening to the Pro Wrestling Rewind podcast earlier this afternoon. The host Andy Knowles and his special guest, Adam Martin of WrestleView.com, mentioned this which put my mind at ease.
For those of you who may not have caught this, as I didn’t at first, here is a photo of what got my attention.

See anything wrong with that photo? If you don’t, check out the top of the World Championship belt that Samoa Joe is holding and look at this photo of Kurt Angle wearing it. A close inspection will show you that the eagle wings at the top have been clipped off of Joe’s title.
Is the promotion that hard up for money that they cannot afford to replace their World title, which is the biggest championship in the company, when it is in need of repair? I am debating on starting a collection for Joe so he can get a new faceplate put on to his title.
Who’s with me?

Thank’s for the props and thanks for listenning to the program. It truly is a disgrace when a man like Somoa Joe busts his ass to finally win the TNA World Championship only to be handed a broken belt.
For shame TNA, for shame.
Power on,
Andy
