TNA PPV & Live Event Schedule on WWE.com

Chris Johnson reported this morning that an article about TNA Lockdown and TNA’s upcoming event schedule of live events is among the articles listed in the Industry News section of WWE.com.

While it is strange to see that there, the Industry News section focuses not only on the WWE, but as the wrestling industry as a whole, which TNA is obviously a part of. The section also seems to be a compilation of news and press releases from sources outside of the WWE. By viewing the sources on the selection of articles they have available on the page, aside from press releases, most of the content comes from prowrestling.net, rajah.com or wrestlezone.com.

Why they decided to post a story about TNA is beyond me, but TNA should be thankful for the free publicity as they do more than there fair share of advertising of WWE’s product during their television broadcasts. I don’t think they will get much more recognition than that in any other medium any time soon.
